City Downtown Attractions

Downtown McKinney

Downtown McKinney is 20 minutes away with great shops, bars/restaurants and an overall charming ambience. We’re big fans of Cadillac Pizza, Local Yokel The Yard (for kids to run!), Rick’s (Sunday Bruch is awesome), Harvest for farm-to-table and Collective for coffee. There are really too many great places to name!

Downtown Farmersville

A more quaint, quiet downtown area of mostly shops and a few restaurants.  12 Stories by Coffee Experience coffee shop is both aesthetically appealing and delicious.

Downtown Blue Ridge

Cattleman’s Café – The restaurant is best known for its breakfast and dinner menu in homestyle cooking.

One of the crowd-favorites is the Chicken Fried Steak, which is hand-battered, deep-fried chopped chicken steak slathered with house-made country gravy and served with your choice of three sides.

Family Fun

Abundant Flower Farm Great little flower farm that offers flowers for sale (as well as eggs, wares, and other plants seasonally). Flower stand is generally open Thurs-Sat if they don’t sell out. Sometimes offer U-Pick days, but best to check the website. Overall it’s just a beautiful place owned by nice people.

Western Equine Sports (WES) Arena
